Enjoy the Microsoft Access Training Camp in Stunning Lake Tahoe!

Dramatically improve your database software skills in 3-day training on Microsoft Access, with a specific focus on how to practically meet the needs of your tribal program, including tracking data, generating reports and capturing statistics on the fly.  Though each participant would naturally have to cover the cost of travel and lodging,
the training itself and the related training materials are FREE to existing clients of Aventure Technology, Inc.  By existing, we are referring to any tribal department that has purchased or upgraded our data management system with us as far back as six years. Contact us if you are unsure of your status.

You must register before 7/15/17, and payment must be received prior to 7/31/17. Contact Destin if you have missed these deadlines.

For other participants that are not currently database customers with Aventure, the training runs $900 per person, with a 20% discount if two or more paying individuals come from the same tribe, regardless of department.

The Access Training Camp will take place at the Hotel Azure in the second week of September (9/6-8/17) in South Lake Tahoe, a 75-minute drive southwest of the Reno International airport, whether traveled along the fantastic scenic route up Mt. Rose and along the Nevada side of the lake or via a slightly more direct route through Carson City. Participants need to arrange their own transportation and lodging - click on the Resources link for helpful information or contact us for logistical support.

The Access Training Camp provides a quick overview of the Case Management System used by your tribal department, with emphasis on the use of queries to generate specific data of interest to you. By the end of the training, your familiarity and ability to juggle data easily in Access will be significantly improved. The actual training outline is considered proprietary and will cover database design and use fundamentals. Class time will run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day.

We have led multiple trainings in the past with consistently excellent feedback. This will not be a dry or boring training where the course instructor just reads from a teacher’s guide. This is a dynamic training designed to maximize your use of your existing database products or new databases you intend to develop on your own, given from someone who actually designs systems that are used on a daily basis all over the country.

If this training experience sounds interesting, get in touch and let us know whether there are elements or topics that you feel should be part of the process.  We continue to explore how to do this in the best possible way while keeping costs to a minimum. Your input and interest will have a direct impact on how the training will take place in 2017.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
